Apache SpamAssassin™


Advanhost’s customers can use Apache SpamAssassin™ by following the below steps easily.

1.Click Apache SpamAssassin™ in EMAL

2.Enable or Disable Apache SpamAssassin™

3.Adjust score

In order to improve the email filter performance, please adjust the [required_score](Note: 5 is the default setting. The lower the number, the more conservative the setting.)
[required_score] should be set lower than score 5, then click save.
It is recommended that the score shouldn’t be set too low at the beginning. The score could be starting at 4.5 and see the result. If the situation is not improved, then you may try 4.0, 3.5…
If the score was set too low, system may occur incorrect judgement. Some of normal email may define as a junk mail.

Blacklist and Whitelist

blacklist – block the mail
whitelist – allow the mail
If client would setup, just input below to blacklist_from or whitelist_from field:
Single email address, input as [email protected]
Whole domain, input *
click Save when completed.
